PDF is best for human review and signed-off snapshots. Markdown is useful for AI-assisted analysis and written handoffs. JSON is best for downstream systems and repeatable evidence processing from reports.

Before sharing an export

Preview the report before exporting so the recipient sees the right scope and time window. Use PDF for readable review packets, Markdown for written summaries or AI-assisted analysis, and JSON only when another system needs structured evidence.

Save a snapshot when the export becomes part of the record. That keeps the evidence stable even if the live system changes later.
