## Treat drift as a review prompt

A trust drop does not always mean the agent is broken. It means recent behavior no longer matches the expected pattern closely enough for the same level of autonomy.

_Trust Profiles explain why an agent has earned autonomy and when it needs review._

## Reviewing the trust change

Start in the agent profile and review the event that changed the score. Pay attention to whether the action used a new tool, destination, scope, amount, or data class.

If related [approvals](/articles/review-pending-approvals) are waiting, review them before restoring autonomy. Tighten policy or [connector scope](/articles/add-a-connector-or-mcp-server) when the action should not repeat, and approve only when the evidence supports the action.
