Create your first agent

Use Agent Builder to turn a business request into a reviewable governed agent.

Begin with work the business can describe

The best first agent is useful, bounded, and easy to review. Pick a workflow with clear inputs, outputs, tool access, and a human owner before you review it for deploy.

Iron Gorilla Agent Builder workspace with business request, source tree, validation, and deploy controls.
Agent Builder keeps the business request, implementation, validation, and deploy readiness together.

Building the first draft

Start from Agents, then create a new agent from a business-language description. A useful prompt names the trigger, goal, inputs, tools, and expected output.

Review the generated draft, source tree, validation state, and requested tool scopes before saving. Keep the first version as a draft until the business owner has reviewed it and the team understands the connector scope.

Good first-agent boundaries

Avoid irreversible external actions for the first deployment. Start with read-only, draft, or approval-gated work until trust and policy behavior are clear.
