Invite users and assign roles

Bring teammates into Iron Gorilla with appropriate access for their responsibilities.

Use roles to match responsibility

Give each person the job they need, not the broadest role available. Administrators manage workspace settings. Governance owners review policies and approvals. Operators work the queue and reports.

Users shows who has access, which role they hold, and whether their account is ready to use.

Inviting a teammate

Invite teammates from Settings, then Users. Add the person’s work email and name, choose the role that matches their day-to-day responsibility, and send the invite.

After the invite goes out, the person still needs to complete sign-in, email verification, and MFA if your workspace requires it. Come back to Users afterward and confirm their status changed from Invited to Active.

After the invite is accepted

Once the person accepts, confirm they can see the correct workspace and the page they need for their role, such as approvals, reports, connectors, or agents.

If something is missing, adjust the role instead of creating a second account. Revisit access after the first week and remove privileges that are not being used.
